Application and Dosage
The minimum recommended "in-use" concentration of th product
is 25% on order to ensure adequate corrosion protection. This
concentration will protect down to -11°C. The maximum
concentration is 40% which will protect down to -22°C (refer to table
above). Alphi-11 is suitable for use on all types of metal including aluminum,
it is especially recommended for use in solar systems. It can be
introduced via the feed and expansion tank or injected directly into the
system via a radiator or filling loop.
Packaging, Handling and Storage
Fernox Alphi-11 is supplied in 5 and 25 litre
containers. Shelf life is (minimum) 2 years. Fernox Alphi-11 is compatible
with Fernox MB1, CH3, Leak Sealer and AF10 biocide. The product is
non-hazardous and non-irritant, but as with all chemicals, should be
handled carefully and kept out of reach of children. Not to be taken
internally. In case of contact with the eyes or skin, rinse immediately
with plenty of fresh water. Do not mix with other chemicals.
